India is a country with a large presence on the internet. Hence, social media is a powerful tool to influence the target market and popularize the brand. Kia Motors India, as a quirky brand entering the already highly competitive market, needed a boost to engage with the customers. Thus, to convey the KIA brand ideology across the audience, two social media accounts were created to lead the audience to the Kia Seltos World Premiere event in an effective way. Kia India’s famous fictional character ‘The Meerkat’ and designer ‘Johnny’s’ accounts were created in a fun and engaging manner.
