When Killers Trended Through Lives

A film starring the talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, there was a lot of excitement for the release of the trailer of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. After the pre-buzz, we digitally launched the trailer on the 11th of July at 3 pm.

  • Nawazuddin Siddiqui went live on Facebook one his way to the launch event.

  • The trailer was launched on Saregama’s YouTube page as well as on Facebook which was then cross-promoted on BB & MBTM’s FB page.

  • Live updates from the launch event were shared on BB & MBTM’s social media properties through tweets and Instagram stories.

Results –

  • #BabumoshaiTrailer trended for over 4 hours in India and major cities on the day of trailer launch.

  • Various keywords & hashtags were used to promote the asset launch that generated a potential total reach of 27.21 million altogether.

  • Babumoshai Bandookbaaz trailer received very good response from the audience and the critics.

  • Babumoshai Bandookabaz trailer crossed over 5.3 million views on Facebook in less than 24 hours after it was uploaded.

  • The teaser started trending at #1 on YouTube on the 2nd day of the launch.
