Winning the Best Social Media Campaign in the CSR sector

Celebrations are in order as we have another feather to add to our cap! Having won many awards for our campaigns, here’s one of the campaigns that we’re really proud of. Everymedia bagged a Gold for Best Social Media Campaign in CSR for YES FOUNDATION’s ‘YES! I am the CHANGE’ at Asian Customer Engagement Forum Awards. ACEF Awards helps promote the best Brands/Organization/Agencies/Individuals for their outstanding achievements in customer engagement & brand excellence through various marketing media. YES FOUNDATION is the social development arm of YES BANK, India’s fifth largest private sector bank. Under the visionary guidance of its Chief Mentor, Mr. Rana Kapoor, MD & CEO, YES BANK, the Foundation follows a differentiated approach focusing on stimulating entrepreneurship and innovative use of media initiatives, to bridge gaps and act as a force multiplier towards empowered and equitable India.

What is ‘YES! I am the CHANGE’?

YES! I am the CHANGE (YIAC) is the flagship program of YES FOUNDATION. Launched in 2013, YES! I am the CHANGE is a nationwide mindset transformation program to inculcate the value of responsible citizenship amongst youth through the impactful medium of films.

YES! I am the CHANGE is the World’s Largest Social Film Movement with participation of over 13 lakh individuals from 2,500 cities and towns across India.

How does it work?

  • As part of YIAC 101-Hour Social Filmmaking Challenge, participants make 3-minute short films

  • The content of these films revolved around social causes which form an open repository of invaluable communication resources for the use of NGOs.

  • The purpose of this was exposure to various social causes and encourage participation leading to the inner transformation of the youth, building association with causes and making them agents of social change.

Our Achievement

  • We received amazing participation from all around the country. Take a look at the participation classified into different categories:
    • a) Students’ category – 2,981

    • b) NGO – 5,462

    • c) Corporate – 11,965

    • d) Other Digital Registrations – 106,296

  • There was a boost in the likes and engagement across all Social Media Platforms of YES Foundation. There was an increase of 30,856 likes on Facebook. The number of followers on Twitter increased by 433. The number of followers on Instagram increased by 672.

We are inspired to deliver bigger and better! And yes, a shout-out to the team of YES Foundation! Here’s to many more successful and phenomenal campaigns!
